The Center for Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital is one of the most comprehensive of its kind in New York City. Staffed with board-certified and internationally known perinatologists, our center offers services for prospective parents including high-risk consultations, amniocentesis, chorionic villi sampling, nuchal translucency, sonographic evaluation at all gestational ages and other methods of fetal assessment such as Doppler studies and nonstress tests. Genetic counseling and chromosomal blood tests are available for parents with history of genetic diseases.

This service also includes co-management of gestational diabetes and other high-risk conditions together with the patient’s general obstetrician. 3D and 4D images are made available for parents on CD to document the different phases of their pregnancy.

Our fellowship-trained physicians provide specialized care for women with high-risk pregnancies and work collaboratively with genetics counselors, nurses, neonatologists and pediatrics subspecialists to provide the best possible outcomes for each baby.
