If you need additional assistance, you can contact the Patient Relations Department. A patient representative is available to help patients and their families resolve any concerns and problems related to care, explain hospital policies and procedures, and answer questions they may have regarding healthcare proxies or ethical issues. The department is open weekdays between 9am and 5pm. It is located in the main lobby of the hospital or can be reached by calling ext. 42095 from inside the hospital or (212) 434-2095 from outside. If patients require assistance at any other time, they can call ext. 42468 and ask to have the hospital's nursing supervisor on duty paged.
