Adult Reconstructive Surgery

Lenox Hill surgeons offer the latest technologies to optimize patient outcomes after surgery

Our Division of Adult Reconstructive Surgery has a rich history of excellence and has achieved international renown. We offer patients the most advanced techniques, including multimodal pain control regimens, direct anterior approach total hip replacement, patient-specific instrumentation for total knee replacement, partial knee replacement and arthroscopic hip surgery. Moreover, our surgeons have expertise in complex reconstructive surgeries, including revision joint replacement and repair of bone fractures around prosthetic implants.

Members of the department utilize the MAKO robot for joint replacement procedures to improve outcomes, shorten hospital stays and minimize soft tissue injury. Procedures performed with minimally invasive techniques are done on an outpatient or one night stay basis with our “first track” arthroplasty program.
