Inspiring stories of heroic care

As Northwell Health’s flagship hospital in Manhattan, Lenox Hill Hospital has always gone above and beyond to invest in our community—developing innovative programs and delivering specialized care to keep New Yorkers healthy. And thanks to our affiliation with Northwell Health, the largest health system in New York state, you can bet we'll be doing so for a long time.

Our walls have seen some extraordinary things, from countless lives saved to the joyful welcoming of new ones. Check out some of our proudest moments below:

Our day-to-day

Led by Dr. David J. Langer—a world-renowned surgeon and leader in the neurosurgical field—our surgeons use their unique expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat rare and complex conditions of the brain and spine.

Emergencies don’t wait for business hours. So, unlike a typical urgent care center, we’re open 24/7 to the entire community—making emergency care uniquely efficient and accessible whenever you need it most.

Our Florence Selwyn Klopfer Family-Centered Maternity Care Unit sees approximately 4,500 deliveries a year. With a full range of routine maternity services and specialized care for moms who need a little extra help, we’re here every step of the way.
